ha! so you thought you could get rid of me! well! you will never be rid of me. i will always be there watching you. so there!
sleep is good. i got about four hours last nite due to a crying/goodbye session, then packing, then some good bathroom poker (that's the only place where the lights were on…), then more packing, then bed around 2 am. such was my life at girl's state. but i loved every minute of it. i want to go back. i learned so much there. such as parliamentary procedure (now i can watch c-span and know what they're doing-yay!) and government at basically every level. i met some really cool people there as well that i fully intend to keep in touch with. people very much like you guys. :-) you see, i like hanging out with intelligent people, which are few and far between at our wonderful school, and at girl's state there were almost 600 of them in a single room. late-night intellectual discussions were the order of the day. everyone was so open-minded. it was great. ooh, i missed you guys though! please put comments on board! i miss those too!
just a word of advice from someone who's been there and back…
NEVER mix band jokes and parliamentary debate jokes, you will get something very bad!
example: if you're at marching band practice and the sun is hot and the people are learning the same thing over and over again and you are frustrated, try moving adjournment and see what happens…or if you are a drum major and people are talking when they're not supposed to be, call them out of order…
okay. i guess you had to be there. sorry guys. i think it's rather funny…
ice cubes baby...da da da da dada da da...
