music takes me away somehow. whenever i'm pissed or depressed or whatever. i don't know how it happens, but it does. i can sit for so long at my piano and play the song in my heart and feel right at home, like in front of the keys is where i am meant to be. it's crazy. it's like the diary in which i pour my heart out. the song i can never find words to but is playing over and over again. it's like i am an instrument, god is playing me, pressing the buttons of my heart as i do whatever i feel is right. reminds me of a song...

there's a song that's inside of my soul
it's the one that i've tried to write over and over again
i'm awake in the infinite cold
but you sing to me over and over and over again

mandy moore. "only hope". i'm not real big on those teeny-bopper pop superstars, but i am inexplicably drawn to this song. i hear it and it just makes sense. does that ever happen to anyone else? when you hear a song and the words become a part of you, like the person who wrote them knows exactly how you feel and can find the words that you can't seem to find inside yourself?

i'm in a strange mood. please pardon all the wackiness contained within this entry. thank you. ~the management
