today has been okay, i guess. i woke up this morning with a sore throat that really hasn't gone away and i'm coughing and my nose is running and i'd like to know who exactly gets a cold in the dead heat of summer? i guess i'm just wierd. this morning...i watched the tring video...no band trip could EVER rival england, my goodness...cleaned my car so we can take a bunch of percussionists to STOMP tomorrow (woohoo!)...then i went shopping at clothestime with liz, but i didn't much feel like getting anything-i wasn't really in a mood to shop. (now i know something's wrong...) then we went to baker's bros. which is reeeeally good...i love the south beach. except i'm wierd because i don't like onions, or tomato, or mustard, or mayo, or pickles, or any of that crazy stuff. i always get plenty of wierd looks when i ask for something plain. well, i like ketchup (but not on south beach!) and lettuce, but nothing else. guess i'm wierd. but i already knew that. :-) l-mart, i know what you're talking about, i'm in a funk this afternoon as well. maybe it's b/c i'm sick, or because my summer is so close to being over (about 2 weeks left), but i've been in a wierd poetry-writing mood all day...
"questions for the uncommon mind"
is this really fear i'm feeling
is it really love i'm needing
is it air that i've been breathing
what is black and what is white?
is this faith on which i'm feeding
is your grace what i'm receiving
is it really you i'm seeking
what is darkness, what is light?
crazy. i kind of like it. i like questions. questions are how you learn more. questions are how you test yourself. questions make you a better person and the world a better place. we should all ask more questions. well, let me rephrase that...we should all ask more non-stupid questions. i've come to the conclusion that there really are stupid questions. lol, example...t-mouse says that one night when he was working at gameworks someone came up to him and asked him where the games were.
now that is a stupid question....
