about to go to piano lesson, i guess i can blog until then. i don't have a lot of homework, i didn't last night either. is it because i have two off-blocks? or because my teachers like giving homework in spurts? prolly both. at any rate, this gives me time to work on college applications and the like...funfunfun. can't you tell i'm excited?
interesting thing happened today. a transformer blew at the senior high...kind of bad timing. everybody was very freaked out (students in one wing of the building were undergoing a lockdown and were told that a man with a gun was in the building...yikes). nothing happened, although we did think that maybe we'd get to go home early, but alas, such was not the case. we just sat in the dark in eyer's class and took notes. still. not the best day ever for the transformer to stop working....ya know.
the entirety of today was very surreal. i was here but i wasn't. (well...except for my english test...i kinda needed to be all here for that...). my mind was engrossed in thoughts of one year ago. and how our nation has changed since then. it's amazing to me how god can take a situation that seems completely tragic and horrible and turn it into good. how he can unite a nation with something that should have torn it apart. how he can make the broken whole again, how he can turn so many people to seek him at a time when people questioned him. it's amazing. he's amazing, don't you think?
