guess what i did today?...i arranged a song! well, kind of, because it's not really done, but it's definately on the right path. it's an arrangement of "on my knees" by jazi velasquez, which is an absolutely beautiful song. lyrics posted here for your reading pleasure...

there are days when i feel
the best of me is ready to begin
then there's days when i feel
i'm letting go and soaring on the wind
cause i've learned in laughter or in pain how to survive...

i get on my knees, i get on my knees
there i am before the love that changes me
see i don't know how but there's power
when i'm on my knees

i can be in a crowd
or by myself almost anywhere
when i feel there's a need
to talk with God, He is Emmanuel...
when i close my eyes, no darkness there, there's only light...

and this is my new favorite quote, it's on my buddy info, i like it. :-)
"Imagine yourself living in a house. God comes to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on. You knew that those jobs needed doing and so you were not surprised. But presently he starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts and does not seem to make sense. What on earth is he up to? The explanation is that he is building quite a different house from the one you thought of—throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up the towers, making courtyards. You thought you were going to be made into a decent little cottage; but He is building a palace." -C.S. Lewis
