and so i find myself with, really, not a lot to do. my college stuff is (mostly) all in. i don't have overwhelming amounts of homework. i practice as much as i can, but eventually i just have to stop, because i get all frustrated about it. i hope i can play for someone tomorrow. you know, in the beginning, i really wasn't too enthusiastic about trying out for all-region, but now i want to make it. really really really bad. more than that, actually, i want to go to state again. it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life, that sounds really corny doesn't it? but it's true. amazing. to play with such talented and dedicated musicians. and then coming back to my band, which really isn't all that bad if you don't count all the IDIOTS, is very disappointing. but anyway. phase I is this monday. i think i will be prepared for that. phase II is what decides whether i advance to area. i'm nervous already... :-)
