i'm reading two books right now. one is tolstoy's anna karenina, a 900 page book that i was going to do my book analysis on but decided that i'd much rather read that book on my own schedule. the other is the bluest eye by toni morrison, which i can already tell will be a very sad but good book. i'm not sure what brought on this change, but i am really starting to enjoy reading for pleasure again. i haven't for a long time. i guess i always just associated reading with english, and some of my reading is associated with class, but more and more of it is becoming outside of class, just because i think some books would be interesting to read. ]

hey if you're going to be in waaaaaaaah-co this weekend (i.e. waco...) our football game is down there at 2. i think it's at waco i.s.d. stadium. go dragons! we're 14-0!! yeeeeeeeah!!
