roads in s-town are rather icy tonight...take care if you're going out!!

haven't posted in a few days...hmm, let's see what's going on. got a one on my solo and one on our ensemble on saturday, which was exciting because it means another fun-filled (although more expensive) trip to state with the percussionists this year. we had some good times...i had a really good revolution hand that one time...lol, okay, it's getting old, i know. i'll stop. but it really was good. then i went to go see old school that night, after much ID turmoil...it was okay, certainly not "like, dude, that was the best movie i've, like ever seen, it was like, totally awesome!" as one guy behind us was saying as we left, but it was good fun. notice i didn't say good clean fun though. it was quite dirty, actually, and movies like that bug me quite a bit. i mean, honestly, is it necessary to put that much...nakedness in one movie? much eye-covering and "tell me when this part is over" ensued. :-)

then sunday we had a going-away party for mrs. deb and squeaker...it was sad...but it was also fun. i'll miss them a lot. i remember waiting at the hospital when lil' bit was born (note: lil' bit=squeaker=annmarie...). i guess i've known them for a while, and it's hard to say goodbye, but they're moving on to better things, and i wish them nothing but the best. in the meantime, i can still get a bit of both of them in the persona of my good ol' friend liz.... :-)

i didn't see much of tyler this weekend, which was disappointing, but i am thankful for the time we did have. maybe i'll get to see him tomorrow when he comes back in, but looking out my window right now it's not looking so good...tyler, i'm sorry our plans didn't work out, and i miss you... :*( i wanna hug!!
