it's been a busy weekend so far! friday tyler and i went to bennigans and then to see "the pianist" at AMC, it was an utterly heartbreaking movie, excellently filmed and acted, and it really touched my heart, i hope it wins some academy awards because it surely deserves them...and, morally speaking, it would just be really nice for it to win over movies like..."chicago". which was also an excellent movie, but sometimes i think movies about perseverance and faith deserve to win at least a little bit. i loved "the hours" as well, it was a slow movie, but enthralling, i hope it wins something as well. anyway...then saturday i spent most of the day shopping for dresses...both for prom and senior recital...i wasn't successful in either respect. i mean, i found a beautiful 2-piece dress that i wanted to get for prom but it has a lace-up back and the cord on every dress that fit me was frayed and nasty-looking...and vista ridge didn't have that dress...suck. so i'm going to try really hard to find it, but it i can't, i guess i'll have to settle for something less. :-( then last night we played halo at thomas' house...i've never played before...i suck, but it was lots of fun, woohoo! :-)

in a bit sadder news...my grandmother needs your prayers, she's not doing so well, she's in a lot of pain and she's in an advanced stage of alzheimer's disease, and yesterday her doctor recommended her for hospice (i don't know if i spelled that right). so i guess at least she'll be relatively happy and at peace when she passes away, it's just kind of sad to think about because i remember when she was cooking and cleaning for herself, and now she can barely get up from her chair, and she doesn't know who i am...please pray for her, thank you guys...i love you all...
