it's been requested that i talk about my experience during the last two weeks, which is fine by me, you guys all know i like talking...i am so so glad to be home. i love UT and i love girl's state but it's nice to be home for a while. kinda sucks (okay...really sucks) that ty's not here and won't be until the 28th. and then he leaves on the 29th for orientation at "extra". (read further, you'll understand) so on the evening of the 28th he's all mine and nobody else can have him! :-) also not many other people are here right now but that's okay, jen's here...so jen, let's do something!!

so, orientation...was pretty fun. met lots and lots and lots of new people. i was kinda wondering when i got there what on earth i was going to do for three and a half days but it wasn't bad at all. they kept us pretty busy! so i'm all registered for classes and such and...hmmm...i think i'll be having fun. i'm taking quite a few music classes, more than i had actually anticipated, but i guess being a music major that kinda comes with the territory. i'll be pretty busy next year but it'll be fun. orientation kinda made me really want to go down there and start school, start my new life. i'm excited about going down there now, well, at least until i start thinking about tyler not being there with me, and then it's a little depressing, but ya know...only 10 days until ty's home...yay!!

then...girl's state, which was certainly an experience. i greatly enjoyed myself. we had the governor in our city...go city C!...and the attorney general...and the chief justice of the supreme court (teeny tiny tami!). wow it was cool, we had only 29 girls in our city (the smallest one...most had 40 or 50) but we took the most state positions. oh yeah. go celebrities. woohoo! oh, okay, so about the extra thing...this one senior counselor (hereafter SC) found a dog in her neighborhood and was taking care of it while looking for its owner. she wanted to name it but her husband said they shouldn't because they would get attached to it. but nobody ever found it, and it now answers to the name "extra dog", or "extra", for short. kinda amusing in a sad way. but just as jessica the SC has an "extra" dog, so texas has an "extra" university. so whenever someone would say something about going to A&M at girl's state, we would say "extra!". well...at least i thought it was funny. i know kim won't...

everyone knows i'm just joking about all this texas vs. a&M stuff right? i think texas a&m is an excellent school. besides, i didn't even start this little feud...other certain people did...but that's okay. just want to smooth out all the wrinkles. there. all better now! do you feel better? i sure do...

that's all for my adventure right now. if you guys want to know any more stories...let me know...but right now i'm feeling too lazy to type them out...ya know how that goes, i'm sure.
