best music EVER (or at least right now): soundtrack from les miserables. yeah, i know, that was soooo last fall.... but it's still great. i can still sing pretty much the whole thing. what i wouldn't give to see it again... *sigh*

life has been pretty uneventful as of lately, or academically at least... pretty easy past few two weeks. it'll get hard again before finals, but since i only have one exam (no! please don't hurt me! nooooooo!), that's won't be so bad, and i'll get to go home early... which is nice. i can't believe it. only a few more classes left... i can make it... or at least i hope i can, because much semester will be much more stressful!

pretty much the only thing that's gone on in the last few days (besides our ever-so-suspenseful win over tech) is my flag football tournament sunday, which was actually really fun. i was thinking about it and i realized that i don't think i've ever played in organized sports before this. is that strange? did i grow up wierd or something? anyway, football was fun, except for the part where i collided with another girl (about two times bigger than me, i might add) and ran my nose into her cheekbone, resulting in undue pain for both of us and an extra little present for me: a broken nose. yeah. my first broken bone ever! it's actually a pretty small fracture, but enough to still hurt three days later, and enough to where if it doesn't fix itself (i'm hoping and praying it will) they might have to knock me out to put it back where it belongs. so yay. it's kind of exciting in a sick kinda way because i've never broken anything before and this is a whole new experience for me. except trying to find a new doctor here and taking care of everything by myself has kinda been a bummer. it's times like these that i really, really miss my mommy..... :-(

but, all in all, i'm in a super mood because tyler's coming down here tomorrow (today, i guess) to see me, which is uber. its been entirely too long. i've seen him twice in the last seven and a half weeks, which is not nearly enough given what we've been going through... so it'll be nice to see him again, even though a week from today (yesterday?) i'll get to see him because i'm going to the hellhole of texas, college station-or is that houston? okay, well, houston can be the hellhole, and college station can be purgatory. (austin can be HEAVEN) just kidding, ya'll! you know i love A&M. really. i do!! i do!!

to love another person is to see the face of god -les miserables
