i made a very big decision yesterday. a while ago i posted about deciding to participate in a band orginization known as delta gamma eta, or "gourdheads". yesterday i made the decision to join another band organization (yeah, i'm a dork, i know)... this one is called tau beta sigma, or TBS for short (heh...) although i swore up and down when i graduated h.s. that i would never join a sorority, i like this organization. it's a service/social organization that, along with its frat counterpart kappa kappa psi, helps out in the school of music and specifically longhorn band, as well as around the austin community. i LOVE the girls in it. they're grounded, they're sweet, they're intelligent, and they have their heads in the right places. i think this is going to be a lot of fun for me- a time committment, especially next spring when i'm an MC (membership candidate), but fun nonetheless. so yay me. i'm excited!

in other news, does everyone see the picture at the top of this blog? i'm currently at the computer lab in the school of music and when i load my blog the pic doesn't show up. just wondering if anyone else has the same problem, or if you see an ad over the picture, let me know about that too...

finally, i think it's time for me to go home for a while. i'm ready. last night i had a freakish dream about being attacked by squirrels, and now whenever i see a squirrel on campus (which is fairly often), i kinda get wierded out. honest.
