i'm bored. i wish more of my UT friends would get back in town. i'm excited about this semester... got my schedule back down to only 17 hours, which is a lot, but i don't think it will be too much. i'll be okay. wierd as it sounds, i'm psyched about actually getting to write again... i've missed it... okaaaay. i'm a dork. oh well.

the last two days have been relatively uneventful. i've worked on blogskins. exempted out of second semester class piano-woohoo! tried to get my mallet/snare chops back up to speed. put my room back together again. rediscovered the joy of high-speed internet. learned how to play raquetball, which was insanely fun... basically just messed around. i have two more days of the same before class starts again.

oh! new thing-so on thursday i arrive at my apartment after four hours of driving in the pouring rain (the last half hour in the peak of austin rush-hour traffic) to discover wet shoes and umbrellas outside my apartment. i open the door to discover that, over christmas break, the third bedroom in our apartment has been rented out. this was not entirely unexpected, but i was suprised that i wasn't contacted... anyway, her name is christy, and she's very very sweet. she's from taiwan and as such is still in the process of getting good at speaking english, so i've been trying to help her out with life in america... as best as i can. i thought last semester that i'd be annoyed when we got a third roommate, but i've found that i'm not annoyed at all. i'm actually really happy she's here. from the first time i saw here, as cliche as it may sound, i've got the impression from God that she's here for a reason. and while i don't know quite yet what that reason is, i look forward to finding it out...

tyler-i look forward to having another "cyberdate" soon... i love ya! :-)
