awesome, AWESOME day

so today started out ordinary but ended up being totally awesome. after unsuccessfullly shopping at plato's closet for nice clothes (which doesn't really happen all too often... man i love that store), i met up with tyler for lunch at quizno's and then a walk. it was really, really nice. thanks ty for hanging out with me. i'm ever-so-glad we can be friends... and i'm gonna miss that when you're in MT. take care buddy. :-)

after that i went to kohl's and FINALLY found something professional-type to wear to my interivew at 4. these awesome light green pants that only cost seven bucks. got some new shoes for $5 at payless and i was stylin', let me tell you. so about this interview. the manager at liz claiborne shoes is this absolute sweetheart named mindy who i really seemed to hit it off with. hopefully i will be able to get a part-time job there-we'll find out tomorrow when she calls me back. i think it would be kinda fun. i get to get dressed up for it!... well, at least a little bit. i have another interview at steak n' shake at 3:30 pm tuesday... i might (MIGHT) try to pick up a second job, but we shall see. after all, i can (quite literally) work whenever i want to at steak n' shake. at any rate, if the big man says it's okay, i have a job at liz claiborne shoes (if you're a girl you'd better come visit, and if you're a guy... you might want to stay away). so yay! mission accomplished.

then, when i get home, i find out that none other than mah boy has called me from the other side of the pond (i.e. france). he calls a little while later and we get to talk. he's seen the eiffel tower, the louvre, all that. i'm so jealous... but maybe i'll get something cool when he comes back :-)... so that was nice.

one last thing... i just realized that i never posted this song, even though i finished it about a week and a half ago. so here it is. "amazing love" is a worship song from the church i attend in austin. it's a beautiful song. i hope i did it justice. no current minidisc projects right now because i don't have the software, but there might be a few during my few-day stint in austin starting a week from today...
