tragic reversal of events
little did i think nine months ago when i drove out of southlake by myself that i would feel the same way about going back to southlake tomorrow. this time it's southlake that seems like the strange frontier, the new territory, the place i need to feel out, to test myself. it's surreal. i know it's long past time for me to go home. i'm ready to face myself and the mess that i've made, ready to present myself to my friends again knowing that i've changed and ready to accept the fact that some of my friends have as well.
thanks to everyone at THE university that made this year quite possibly the best of my life. we've had some amazing times. i look forward to next year like you wouldn't believe. it's going to rock your socks off. hook 'em, ladies and germs, cause there's no place i'd rather be.
so summer, here i come...
