five days later...

... that's a long time for me without a post. but i've been busy. and i will be extremely busy until tomorrow night at approximately 10. october 18th is going to be the freaking longest day of my life, but it's okay. school is just taking over my life. no biggie. :-)

i got to see my family last night/this morning. we threw my mom a suprise 50th birthday party which was totally fun and unexpected by her. she even insisted to my dad that i must not have known about it, even though he said i did. wow, i must be good... anyway, if you see/talk to my mom anytime soon, tell her she's getting old. :-) just kidding... love you mama!

letting things go as i mentioned in the previous post has been a moderate success. more and more i'm learning that the things that used to bug me are either completely unintentional or his way of saying he cares. they're kinda strange ways sometimes in my opinion, but life is all about adapting, about changing, and about accepting. i'm drastically different than i was when i walked across the stage to get my high school diploma a year and a half ago, and i'm different than i was at the beginning of this year, and i'm even a little different than i was when i woke up this morning. that's how life goes i guess.
