the morning after

... i agree with mike. christmas does have this emotional peak to it and then everything seems back to normal. except for the amazing deals at retail stores. i'm so glad i'm done working. :-)

you do something to me that i can't explain, so would i be out of line if i said i missed you?...

you know what else is a good song? (<--- awkward transition, but oh well...) is this new green day/oasis song the edge likes to play. they combined green day's "i walk alone" with oasis's "wonderwall" because apparently they have the same chord progression and it is really awesome. they play it a lot on 102.1 so if you're in the area check it oooooooout :-)

started figuring out the guitar today. i've never played a string instrument of any sort so it's challenging but fun. hopefully by the time i get to school i'll have some sort of knowledge about how the instrument works. for the time being, however, yay for ode to joy and hot cross buns and other three-note songs...

austin on tuesday. i can't wait. pasadena/winter park/washington DC here i come!!
