brick for brick i know the city like my handprint

life is pretty uneventful without school. a little unnecessary shopping, a little napping in the afternoon, a lot of errands, and a little time spent with friends from home. i guess i didn't realize i would only have three whole days here (and two half-days) so it's going by pretty fast. i saw robots today which was very cute just like every other pixar movie i've ever seen that i'm a sucker for. tomorrow yields more shopping (hey, lyd wants to do it and i'm more than willing to comply) and more nothingness. i have a large OA assignment i've been working on periodically that i really should work on more during break. i've been playing guitar-changed the strings out on thursday and the ones we put on are FABULOUS. totally beats the factory strings. plus now i have picks that don't suck so bad. even closer to rock-star status than before now. guitar center is the absolute bomb if you ever get a chance to go. i think my favorite part was educating the cashier about the microphones he had behind the counter :-)

countdown to camping at ENCHANTED ROCK: 3 days
countdown to my birthday: 15 days

feeling awfully non-poetic/black and white tonight. i think it's because i'm very tired. shades of gray require entirely too much thought right now.

goodnight.

Just wanted to point out that Robots is a Fox movie, not a Pixar movie.

Oh, and it was good to see you on Tuesday! :-)
