i am the luckiest

hahaha. what a fun past few days. went on my south texas symphony band tour with the craziest, funniest people on the planet. spent a LOT of time on a bus driving from austin to san antonio to laredo to brownsville to san antonio (we got time on the riverwalk for lunch and went to visit the alamo, which is where this picture came from) to austin. played only the LONGEST GAME OF UNO EVER (about 3 hours?) yesterday. it was exhausting (8 hours of sleep in two days?) but oh so much fun.

and then there's always this. potheads: texas revue 2005 champs. i can't believe it-it was AMAZING seeing all those people going crazy for you, wanting you to win, hearing people screaming for you... officially a rock star now, if i wasn't one before. :-) as soon as there's a video of the performance online i'll post it so you mere mortals that didn't go can watch us shine, shine, shine.
