let me be your weeping willow tree
this is really, really cool. a great reminder that nobody in this world is really ever alone in their thoughts... i'm kind of wondering what i could send to this.
why does UT's exams end so much later than everyone else's? just a thought. i'm not done until about 4 days from now. stupid PSY 301 exam on the last day of finals.
question: when the person you used to be with is with someone else and so are you, why does it STILL hurt to see them together? why do i STILL fill my thoughts with "i wonder what they're doing right now?" and "i wonder if he's happy?" it's getting better with each passing day, but it still haunts me a little. i was slightly offended yesterday when a close friend of mine made my problems out with this seem to be nothing compared to her problems, but the more i think about it this morning, the more i think she may be right. first of all, her situation sucks. and second of all, do i even have a right to feel upset? what if he told me in the not-so-distant past that he didn't want to be in a relationship with anybody and that's one of the reasons why we broke up, but now i suspect and fear it might just be that he didn't want to be with me anymore? is it wrong that that matters to me also?
i need a vacation very badly. even if only for a few days before i jump head-first into the madness that will be this summer. i'm tired of worrying about the things in my life that don't matter (aka THE PAST) when i should be enjoying the present. because it really, really, really is a great thing i have here. i love it. and i don't want it to go away on account on my well-intentioned, but useless, nostalgia...

Steph, you have a right to your feelings, whatever they may be. If you feel upset, that's fine. If you feel happy, that's also fine. If his being with someone else bothers you, it bothers you. Feelings are feelings; we can't control them. Your problems are just as real as anybody else's. The "badness" of our problems is determined only by ourselves; no one else.
Don't let anyone else tell you differently.
