don't deny
drumchica9: i can't do any work right now
PSCHEFFEL: why?
drumchica9: i don't know
PSCHEFFEL: ok
drumchica9: think i'm going to post to my blog
and here i am.
apparently lindsay and i were on national TV last night. i've had about ten people tell me today, which has left me feeling like one of the popular kids. what an awesome game... hopefully, out of the millions of people who saw me rock out last night, only a few noticed the HUGE red painful bump/zit on the side of my nose. is that vain of me?... i'm only bringing it up because i still feel it every time i move my face.
t-minus one week to alumni gourd party, two weeks to ACL fest, three weeks to what will hopefully be WeGB party... i don't ever remember having this much... well, stuff to do. all fun though :-)
my internet connection is painfully slow tonight, and i've had a lot of homework and such to do. i can't listen to my music files for music history because it's running so slow. it took about five minutes to load this page alone. reminds me of dial-up. yick.
i'm about to start volunteering teaching drumset to students at texas school for the blind. in spite of the fact that i'm awful at drumset, i'm excited about this. more experience in this field is never a bad thing.
i'm finding that moving forward in my faith is really, really difficult. on the surface i'm willing to learn and grow and change, but on the inside i've grown really, really comfortable with the current state of things, and changing some of those habits is more scary than i'd like to admit right now..
