you've got wires going in
unless you have it out for me, you'll probably be happy to know that the pain from my wisdom teeth removal a week ago is mostly gone. my jaw is still extremely stiff, but it gets better every day, and i think that by the time i leave for THE ROSE BOWL (two days and counting!) it should be better still. so yaaaaaaay. wisdom teeth suck.
the life aquatic was good. go see it. (it's on DVD now) Memoirs of a Geisha was pretty good as well, but i really felt like the movie knew it was destined to be a blockbuster and as such made itself as shiny and... um, Hollywood-ish... as possible. don't know if any of that makes sense (it didn't when i was trying to explain it to my friends a few days ago), but all's well.
i'm leaving late this morning to go to austin, rehearsal and preparations tomorrow, then at 4:00 AM dec. 31st i'm boarding a bus which will take me to a plane which will take me to sunny (hopefully?) pasadena, CA. my second time in as many years-should be friggin AMAZING. i'll post about it (with pictures? i should have about a gazillion) when i get back.
does anybody want to invent a teleporter that could just zap me back to my apartment? because i REALLY don't want to drive on I-35 today... that road sucks, seriously.
everybody have a safe and blessed ringing in of 2006! look for me on the tele jan. 2nd (rose parade in the am) and jan. 4th (rose bowl in the pm)
:-)
