okay, pictures

here we go...

lindsay and i got tipsy off champagne i think the second day we were there and wandered into the universal citywalk (there was a USC pep rally going on there) and took pictures of their drumline among other things. i'm not sure how we remained unscathed because we were both decked out in UT clothing :-)



one night we got on the subway and took it one stop away to hollywood. we went to the kodak theatre and the chinese theatre and walked along the walk of stars. i'm imitating one of the lions in front of the chinese theatre :-)



same trip, paul and i at the top of the stairs at the kodak theatre. i felt so glamorous :-)



on the 3rd we got to wander around universal studios for a while. paul took a picture of me engaging in a dance party with the penguins from madagascar



i rode a mechanical bull that night. i was damn good at it too :-)



us going into the rose bowl. i can't even begin to describe the atmosphere there. there were so many people... so many drunk people... it was fun. there was such camraderie among the longhorn nation present... people were offering us beers (don't worry mom, i declined)



and then, yeah we won, and everyone started screaming at the top of their lungs (had we stopped at all during the game? i know i hadn't) and this sweet confetti machine went off right in front of us. the moment in which we won the game was one of the most surreal moments of my life, just looking at the clock and seeing there was no time remaining and i remember my first thought was "huh, that's funny". my second thought, naturally, was "ohmygodwejustwontheNATIONALfreakingCHAMPIONSHIP".

then we did what any winning team does... we went to disneyland and rode kiddie rides and watched shows and all that... my friends zeb and olivia and i posed with the genie!
