i jumped out of a plane this weekend. what did YOU do? :-)

seriously, this weekend has been so great. skydiving is, just as i suspected, AMAZING, and not quite as nauseating as i expected, which is always nice. i went with matt and my two cousins-too much fun.

then later that day-after a stint in the computer lab at the music building-i visited cheapo records off of lamar-what a great, great place. picked up some jazz fusion music-weather report and mahavishnu orchestra
... good, good, good stuff. lately i've been listening to this and various female singer-songwriters. ani difranco mainly, but also some rilo kiley (i heard her at ACLfest), rachel yamagata (ditto)... i feel like my hippie-ification is almost complete.

then today i played marching snare (i know... gulp!) at an easter service in austin... extra money is always good... then i hung out with the family for most of the rest of the day. and family is good. :-)

you know when you've got a keeper? when you're walking next to each other and you say "let's skip" and he says "okay" like it's the most natural thing in the world. i like that :-)
