i am currently in a perpetual state of "figuring it out". like i'm running on a treadmill that won't turn off - sweating through the day, but never getting anywhere. i suspect that this might be the mental exhaustion that is the last week of the semester, but it's always amazing to me how new and annoying it feels every single time it happens.

it also could be the fact that i'm smack in the middle of grad applications and deciding how i want to spend the rest of my life pretty much. (overexaggeration? most likely. by now i think i have the perspective to see that i will probably end up okay no matter what i do, but that doesn't much help when i'm too busy freaking out to engage in rational thought.)

so, if you were wondering what's up with me, that's pretty much it.

if you weren't, that's cool too.

so, uh, who wants to go to the alamo bowl on dec. 30th? yeah, me neither. the schedule for this trip had better include a lot of riverwalk time and possibly a trip to fiesta texas or sea world. and we'd better beat iowa by a zillion points. but hey, at least i'll be free on new year's eve.

i'm beginning to realize that i'm a lot more cynical now than i was coming into college. i'm not sure why that is or what happened to me that made it that way or whether it's better this way or not, but it's just how it is, i guess.

possibly a bit more depressed too. but let's just blame that on the weather...
