music educators are waaaaaaaaay underappreciated. it's true.

at the risk of sounding dramatic and without much elaboration, right now my life is changing just a little faster than i can process it. perhaps change is coming too fast, or perhaps i'm too slow... either way, it's overwhelming. last night the coagulation of literally about twenty little things was too much for me to handle and i cracked. and i'm not gonna lie - letting it all out felt pretty amazing. what made it even better was the presence of someone who knows when to respond to what i'm saying and when to just listen. i hope i am that person to him as well.

when i say i'm glad i found someone who knows me better than i know myself, i don't think i've ever meant it as much as i do now. :-)
