hooray for changes in scenery. feel free to comment and let me know what you think... unless of course i'm the only one who cares enough to notice :-)
so summer has been quite... summer-y... i'm doing quite a few things:
-working at the lab school, doing much the same work that i did over the school year but with more science. yay
-volunteering in the markman lab in the psychology department. (yeah... interesting bunch) most recently, i've been traveling to the student union and asking random people to fill out surveys. goooooooood times. but hey, whatever puts you out of your comfort zone, right?
-hopefully starting another job soon where i work on social skills with a teenage boy who has Asperger's... emphasis on hope hope hope.
-wine tasting in fredricksburg and mason.
-skydiving with lilbro.
-getting seriously addicted to scrabulous.
-scrapbooking. (yay!)
-napping.
-babysitting.
-running.
see? told you i was busy....
i try to ignore the voice in my head that is constantly telling me that i can handle more because i KNOW grad school's going to be busy and i KNOW i'm reasonably occupied right now, but it's constantly in my mind anyway.
new apartment is sweet, although i do miss the house and my roomies... but not the house's landlord. long and painful story, but at least it's finally over... *knocks on the nearest wood*
up for this weekend is more babysitting, frickin LOBSTER DINNER, a spectacular trip to ikea, and father's day. good times...
