accidentally set my alarm for an hour too early this morning. work at 9:30, not 8:30 silly!

spent all weekend playing with one very active, very imaginative five year-old. it was really fun, but i'm spent. in spite of the fact that i really do like kids, i'm still convinced that babysitting might be the most effective form of birth control there is. no kids. NO KIDS!! EVER!!!

anna karenina is going well - i've made it much farther than i did the first time i attempted it - I really think I should have it read by the end of the week. then, as a reward for finishing the longest book i've ever read, I get to go spend my B&N gift card buying more summer reading :-)
