me sad. :*( tyler's leaving on thursday to go to houston. i will miss you kiddo!!

it's funny how scenery can take you back. today i went with tyler back to the playground at JES where i went to school for 5 years...and i kept telling him all these stories, what i did as a kid, about the time my brother beat me up on the playground. yeeeah...don't go telling the world about that...embarassing. also funny, how all that playground equipment that seemed to be so tall, so far off the ground as a child is now so small. my, how we all have grown. it hit me when we took the K-12 pic and it hit me again today. everything's changed there. "the only thing that stays the same is, everything changes, everything changes..." they took away the merry-go-round and the jungle gym and replaced it with some modern plastic crap. meh! who cares about safety regulations? i want the old skool equip back!!
