i saw anna karenina yesterday. it was sooo cool. a little freaky, but very good. i was really impressed by the maturity of the actors, by the way it was performed. it was encouraging to see that even though we lost two very good theatre directors the department is still doing very well. made me happy. it would have been a shame to see it go to pieces...

then i was going to do something with some people but they decided not to include me (no bitterness there, i promise...) so i made my own plans. went to lyd's house, made brownies (another interesting experience...) and watched life as a house, which was, despite some very...um, interesting scenes and interesting characters, very good. jen came after a little bit, so we just hung out and watched 'da movie...good stuff...

and geez...i am so glad that texas lost yesterday. now don't get me wrong, i like texas all right, who knows, god willing they might even become my alma mater, but for heaven's sake, maybe for once we can get kenny j-dawg to shut up!!

random thought...what should i be for the halloween costume party? besides a cat. i'm a cat every single frickin' year. i want something different. i was kind of thinking i could be harry potter, but i don't know if i can pull it off. any ideas, beloved fans?
