wow. my college essays thus far suck really really badly. i don't know if i just have writer's block or what tonight, but i can't seem to make them better. which scares me, i hope they get better before i submit them, i hope some pure stroke of genius comes to me in the next few days. would be nice, wouldn't it?

so apparently my mom was talking to another kid's mom and she said a kid she knew was going to his second choice school. and my mom asked, "what was his second choice?"

"harvard."

so my mom says "wow, what was his first?"

"plan II at UT."

hehehe. just goes to show you. i hope that i can get into this program, but i have my doubts about it. if people getting into harvard are getting rejected at plan II...geez. i think this is my reach school, as dumb as that sounds, if i can get into the plan II program, i'm set...my parents have money in a savings thing that pays full tuition at any public university and the average tuition at any private. so if i make it into plan II, basically i'm getting an ivy league education for about $8,000 (that's not including scholarships...) per year. yep. i can definately do that. :-)
