look ma, i'm a sellout!

this is a blogger-certified layout like most of you normal people have. i rather like it. i don't think it was here before. but because the programmers behind these lovely layouts know what they're doing (i.e. they'll work in everyone's browsers) i'm going to go with the corporate layout for a while. take that metaphorically however you like.

there's always one thing you leave at your house when you're coming back. i thought i was doing well this time around until i realized, to my great agony, that i left my jack johnson cd in my mom's car stereo. so it'll be a while until i hear the song from which the green box to your right gets its words. boo.

but at least i'm home (or was i home before? home has taken on a very loose, rather confusing meaning) in austin, and things are good. i'm super-psyched about being an OA (that's orientation advisor for those just tuning in) this spring/summer. there's something about the people there that makes me a person i like, a person i want to be. it's a nice feeling...
