annie, one of the kids that i grew to know and love this past summer, passed away from a stroke at the age of 15. this article, i think, aptly summarizes the way we all felt about her and how much her life, however brief, meant to so many people.

it gives me comfort to know that she is in the presence of God right now, and that He is smiling at her, and she is free of disease and burden and pain. and though i only knew her for a few weeks, she made a huge impact on my life.

you will be missed, beautiful :-)
